I know, i said we were through. I wasn't lying...i swear. While I hate to be that band, the one that reunites so shortly after breaking up...you know we never would have done it in the first place if someone we know didnt have such strong loyalties to the commonwealth of massachusetts. Not everyone wants to be in a band with "some faggot that lives in California".

Now that all differences are forgiven, we're hitting the road with our friends HOAX on an east coast tour for the last week of FEB. We'll also be visiting the great white north, to show them the whitest time they've seen in a while. I think it's safe to say this band is done. After seeing the white one in his fortress of solitude this past weekend its clear that he's not coming out anytime soon. He has everything he needs in there. A banjo, racist black metal tapes, a woman-slave, and all the other amenities that come with cave life. With his waning interests in the modern world and electric music now down to zero, he just doesn't have a place for S in his life. The only thing that might convince him to come out is if you get one of the following bands to play: Furthur, Darvocets, Phish, Gordon Solie Motherfuckers, Inmates, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Slim Thug, Slapshot, No Warning, or any black metal band with the word moon in it.

Sean and I recorded some new material while I was home which may be used for something else. Whoever wants to do vocals on it is welcome.

I still have some of these Rodeo LPs lying around if you still want one.

After a long bender, I'm returning to the east to accompany NEO CONS on the MA part of their east coast tour. While I'm there we're heading out to desolate and terrifying WINDSOR MA to record a new release with the RED BARON. You may know him from Mudlark, you may have seen him creeping up on you in your rearview mirror in the middle of the night, or maybe you've seen his artwork on an album called HIDDEN WORLD. He's recording us REAL2REAL. No bullshit.

Unfortunately we won't be playing any shows on this trip. A shoulder has gone sour, along with an attitude. When we play next is in the hands of the white one...

In other news Gonya will be repressing WHITE SAINTS on ABCESS records. Another 200. No limited colors, no polybags, no alternate cover, no alternate endings, no alternative lifestyle gift bags. Just the shitty cover art I made on photoshop and the wax.

Thanks to everyone who danced hard as fuck and mangled their bodies this weekend. After very little sleep, a good amount of alchohol, and a flight to SFO delayed almost 3 hours, I'm contemplating suicide, but I won't cop HOAX's style. Sorry to everyone who was planning on going to the flywheel this morning, people weren't down to play and i just couldn't swing it logistically. Special apologies to the Dark Master for befouling his blasphemous sunday plans. More apologies to those who wanted an LP and didn't get one. A primal 3 piece assault that unhinges at every moment, with songs that quake and drone like a pressure cooker ready to burst. Intensifying their sound from previous releases with a much fuller and more realized production, the band charges through 10 tracks of venomous, sexually repulsed tirades aiming to tear apart every last hope for humanity. Include a decimated reworking of their opus "Fuck To Survive" along with their version of local anthem "Upsidedown Cross". Recorded and mixed at the infamous Pain Cave by Chris Corry and DFJ of MIND ERASER-fame, with unforgettable artwork photographed by LA legend Cali deWitt.

Its time to demystify you all and remove the "mystery guy" aura around us by telling you exactly what's going on with us:

1) We're NOT breaking up. Tony may tell you different but we'll play again I'm sure. I'm moving to San Francisco until further notice and so the band is on hiatus until I get back. I'm currently on Virgin America flight 351 arriving at 1220pm pacific.
2) The Rodeo LP is now getting mastered and should be out sometime
3) The White Stains EP is pressed and the records are sitting in a meth lab in san francisco that I'm on my way to get RIGHT NOW.
4)There is no "demo 09" tape. The trash bag tape was the demo.
5) The live split with low character is not happening
6)I don't know if the guy from Vile Gash is reissuing the demo or not. Do you?

Pressing of 200 but it's already sold out, and it just came out yesterday. Maybe people think this is going to be ebay gold? Fools. Anyway we'll be pressing 100 more, and there's one hidden in an unmarked box in Chris Dooley's warehouse, if you have the balls to go to Holyoke MA to search for it. It has three songs from the Gebo session. Apparently they're about sexual frustration...whatever that is. Thanks to Erin Lemkey for naming the first track, Succubus, inspiring all the drum fills on that song, and for having supernatural powers. Thanks to Mark McCoy for the insights :

After a quiet self-release of a debut tape limited to 50 copies, Western Mass' SQRM return with three new expositions on the horror of sexuality. Enhancing their sound with sharpened focus and production, this three piece ensemble perfectly capture the chaotic intensity of their unhinged live performances in this stylish new release. Commencing with "Succubus", SQRM ravages through several tight twists and jerks until dissipating into a crouching mechanical groan. Gebo

Gebo is an ill dude. He is a 27 year old man with a steady girlfriend, two dogs, and a beautiful house in Easthampton MA. He played guitar in the Prowl. He currently plays guitar in White Pressure and Libians who had a song on ROCKBAND. Most importantly he recorded three songs for us that are going to be on a cassette single called "Fuck to Survive" on Youth Attack records (http://www.ihateyouthattack.com/pages/exptemp.htm). It's much more audible than the demo recording. The drums are louder in the mix, and the vocals sound better, and sean looked less like tom morello (only while we recorded). We recorded it in 15 min because I had to go work at some shitty Brewhouse kitchen in Williamsburg MA that fired me for liking Cro Mags "Best Wishes" better than Age of Quarrel. Gebo is a wizard and somehow made it sound pretty good in spite of that.

This Saturday Gebo is having a dinner party. We're going to stuff a leg of lamb with spinach and goat cheese and smoke it for 4 hours. Thats right he has a meat smoker too. This guy really has it all. While thats going on i'm going to braise some ribs then go down in the studio and start the thrash band ive been dreaming about since 7th grade. Come hang out. Our most recent show in Boston. Luckily this one didn't get broken up by the FBI. Good thing we didn't extort anyone this time. Above are some choice pictures. Our guitarist looks like if Tom Morello did acid, you can clearly see the Bathory influence in Tony's pics, and I'm going bald, either because I just picked up smoking again, or because I have H1N1.

Thanks to Brendan from Mind Eraser for helping set up drums. I have a really hard time with that. ME's set was a ball-breaker as usual. Unfortunately some asshole felt like he had to take off his belt, choke-slam some poor kid on the floor, and then go whipping it around at people. What kind of insecure, alpha-male dick do you have to be to do that? This isn't badluck13 riot extravaganza, or a haymaker show. As Al Quint commented, someone should have grabbed it and wrapped it around his neck. Cheers Al
